So here's the deal. I have a lot of homeschooling stuff. Tons. I buy more each year and I get quite a bit from the Homeschool Review Crew. I don't, however, buy more bookshelves each year. You can see the dilemma, right?
Since I need more room for new books, I have decided to spend the rest of the summer giving away some of the stuff that we're not using anymore. Everything I offer will be in Excellent to Like New condition.
First up, TruthQuest History: Middle Ages.
TruthQuest History is a deep and rich literature-based history study… but with a difference. You will not learn the story of mankind; you will learn the love story of mankind. You will not focus on the rise and fall of human civilizations; you will focus on the arrow-straight line of God's unchanging existence, power, love, truth, and plan for civilization. You will not simply 'meet the culture' or 'get the facts;' you will probe the truths of history so deeply that your students will be equipped to change their world!
The history guides are made up of four parts:
1) Commentary for each topic.
2) Reading lists, organized by grade level, for each topic.
3) Think Write exercises to help students internalize key truths.
4) An appendix which offers sample answers to help evaluate the students knowledge.

Love Truthquest! The Middle Ages is one book we don't have yet.
I'd have to say studying the Ancients has been the best fun so far. We had a great time studying that time period.
My favorite time period is the late 1800s... pioneers, westward expansion...
Love the 1800's as well. I've always been interested in Civil War history. BUT, my kiddos would LOVE to study the Middle Ages! Right up their alley.
What a great idea! I may have to try it out as well. You should do a linky so we can hook up everyone that wants to do it too!
This is such a great idea, and very generous of you! Thanks for offering up the giveaway.
Oops (read the directions). My favorite time period to study was the middle ages!
I love studying the Western Migration. I think I was born in the wrong era! :)
I'm with Swinging...at least in part! The Oregon Trail is one of my favorite historical events....but I don't think I would have wanted to have been on it!
It's hard to choose! I really like the American Revolution era. Also the Renaissance and Reformation time periods are very interesting.
Oh I love the Middle Ages, and the giveaway is a super idea. I need to do that myself. Someone else said maybe you could hook up a linky for everyone that wanted to giveaway somethings, that would be wonderful :)
I love studying the Ancients time period too! We have had loads of fun doing this. I would love to look into the Middle Ages. I found their American History one on Ebay.
We've only studied ancient history so far, but loved it so much we parked it and stayed for several years. ;) Looking forward and happy to be moving into the middle ages finally though!
