With Kayleigh, it's all about options. I never know what she's going to be willing to do so I'm ready with a lot of choices this year. It may or may not work for me. lol
She's also really close to a break through with her reading. She knows all of her letters and sounds, has started a nice foundation of sight words, and she's just on the cusp of figuring out blending. It's an exciting time for her. And for me. Mackenzie taught herself to read at a very young age so didn't get to teach her to read. I'm excited to finally be able to claim that I taught my own child to read instead of other people's.

How old will your little one be when you start? I'm trying to figure out when we should start preK.
I am so glad you posted this! My DD is 3 and I am planning to do more with her this fall, but we also are not quite ready for pre-K. We are doing most of the same things y'all are! Next year I plan to do actual pre-k and not start K until she is 5 ;)
