Kayleigh is 38 months old

This week we focused on the letter Nn.  Unless otherwise noted, our activities came from Confessions of A Homeschooler

I ordered Kayleigh a subscription to High Five (Highlights for little guys) and she did her first Hidden Pictures in it.  Boy did she love that.  She was asking for more.

I loved the Big/Little letter stamping activity from 1+1+1=1 toddler printables.  I just knew that Kayleigh would love them.  So I ordered a set of capital and lowercase  letter stamps.  Unfortunately we’re quite a few letters ahead of Carisa, so I had to make my own printable for it.

But I was right, she loved doing it.  And she was good about stamping the letter that I called out.  Bonus!

I bought this metal bird picks (for gardening) in the Target $ spot and used them for a small spaces activity.  Then I added a foam block to use as a “nest.”  She’s played with that everyday.  It was by far her favorite activity of the week.

Her last spin with our Easter sensory bin. I had added a stuffed bird to it so she could use it as a nest but she still uses the grass as hair.    I’m so ready to get rid of that Easter grass.  LOLDSC_0496redots

Mackenzie is studying insects in science and Kayleigh is very interested in them too.  Here she is using her magnifying glass to observe the Painted Lady chrysilis.

Here she is conducting her own “nature study” while waiting during sissy’s field hockey practice.
