Kayleigh is 36 months old
This week we continued on with the letter Jj and had lots of Suessical fun in honor of Dr. Suess' birthday. And Kayleigh had her very first dentist visit.
We practiced patterning, and letter recognition, with a J is for Jewels printable I created for her. We are a house full of princesses. =o)
Kayleigh did some cutting and pasting. She always loves to do this.
She practiced lacing with the Melissa and Doug Lacing Bears that she got for her birthday.
She did a lot of roller skating with her new roller skates.
Her very first visit to the dentist. No cavities or tantrums!! Yay!
Lots of Dr. Suess fun courtsey of 2 Teaching Mommies.
Green Eggs and Ham prewriting page.
10 Apples Up on Top clip cards. She counted and found the correct numbers, I clipped.
One Fish, Two Fish graphing goldfish.
J is for Jellybean shape puzzles from COAH.
And that was our week. Click the Tot School butotn at the top of the page to see what other tots have been up too.
YAY for a great dental visit!! And where, oh where did you get those scissors??
ReplyDeleteLooks like you guys had a fun week! Love the outfits!
ReplyDeleteGood job on the successful dentist visit! Looks like you had a busy Tot School week - and that your sweet girl has entered a more cooperative phase...always enjoyable :)
ReplyDeleteA first dentist visit is a big accomplishment! I love those beginner sissors!
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me...I need to get Adam into the dentist! :) Looks like she had a great week!
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping J will get more comfy with scissors. Both the ones you put in your widget look great to use. This is too funny - I also posted pics of the first dental visit this week! I was also glad it went so great. I had to laugh when I saw we both posted about the dentist this week. Melissa & Doug toys are just wonderful.
ReplyDeleteGreat week and YEAAAH on the visit to the dentist:-)

Love your little girl princess outfit! <3 Kids at her age just love doing arts and crafts. My kids love them too! As for her dentist visit, I'm glad that she had a great time. My kids love their dentist so much! Can't believe how kids are getting braver these days. Love it!
ReplyDeleteShe looks really cute with those eye glasses on! Oh, her thumb is up, looks like she’s having a great time on that dental chair! That’s so cute!
ReplyDeleteNo cavities and tantrums!? Nice! Seeing her having fun while doing all the things she wants to do is cute. It can really turn someone's bad day into a good one.
ReplyDeleteI am looking for a j is for jewel printable. We're in that week in the MFW K curriculum. Trying to finish it up so I can move on into Sonlight and not feel like I'm trying to do too many things all at once!! Would you be able to share yours?? Do you still have it saved somewhere?

Kayleigh is already a big girl! It’s always nice to see kids having fun during their first dentist visit! I just hope that my daughter would also be brave like her.
ReplyDeleteYou breezed past Kayleigh's first visit to the dentist as if there was nothing to it. Great for her she got a great report card. My mum tells me I was very scared and nervous for my first visit.
