We are coming upon my oldest's type 1 three year diaversary in a month. It has been a tough roller coaster ride for us. We think we get control and then he has a growth spurt (7 years old.... nuff said!) and all of his numbers change. Eesh. Here's to sharing something tough! I think T1D can be so hard because people think it's just giving a shot here and there--not that it's a 24 hour battle 7 days a week. Oh, and the little guy also has Asperger's and Sensory Processing Disorder--makes for a real fun cocktail! Blessings to you and prayers for your continued adjustment.
